    Dear Sirs ,

    How do you convert Tan bank angle of 0.54 into 28 degrees??? Please help

    Question ID: 811148

    If an aeroplane performs a steady co-ordinated horizontal turn at a TAS of 200 kt and a turn radius of 2000 m, the load factor (n) will be approximately

    1.1

    Use formulae:

    Load Factor = 1 / Cos Bank Angle

    [B][COLOR=#0F243E]Radius of Turn (in meters) = V

    On your exam approved calculator:

    Press the key labelled either 2nd F, or INV
    Press the Tan key
    Type in 0.54 and then the = key.
