  • Taf and Visibility

    Hi Guys,
    I have this TAF

    FACT 032200Z 0400/0506 06005KT 9999 SCT015 FM040200 33008KT 9999 BKN008 TEMPO 0402/0406 2000 BR BKN002 BECMG 0406/0408 BKN020 FM040900 33012KT 9999 SCT035 FM041600 26010KT CAVOK BECMG 0504/0506 20006KT TX21/0412ZTN09/0404Z

Would like to get a clear understanding of the VISIBILITY at 0700Z on the 04th?
Im abit confused whether its 2km or 10km.

Does the word BECMG actually change the TAF prediction of 06005k and 9999vis stated to be between 0400/0506?

    Second question is

    Meteorological visibility is measured by:
    A. anemometer
    B. an observer as an eye sight of known objects in a distance.
    C. transmissometer.
    D. ceilometer.

I feel its transmissometer but im not sure between B and C

    Third Question is

What is the recommended distance above a thunderstorm cloud shoud be flown if needed to
    A. Not possible to overfly thunderstoms
    B. 500ft above cloud tops
    C. 1500ft above clouds tops
    D. 5000ft above cloud tops.

    Please help. Kindly
