Can any one explain me the answer & its theory.

Met Chap 3 page 3.5 Stability and instability of an air mass. Air cools with altitude at the Environmental Lapse Rate (ELR). The Standard Dry Adiabatic Lapse Rate (DALR) and Saturated Adiabatic Lapse Rate (SALR) is compared to the ELR at the time to derive whether the atmosphere is Stable or Unstable. In simple terms if Cold air is under Warm air the the atmosphere is stable and if Warm is under Cold air is under Cold air the atmosphere is unstable.

Advection = horizontal movement, so there is no vertical movement considered in the answer (no mixing)

A layer of warm air sitting on top of a layer of cold air, you can see this as an inversion layer, it is a very stable configuration.

I made up a little mnemonic for remembering this:
cold above warm there is going to be a storm
