    dry operating mass 35 500 kg
    estimated load 14 500 kg
    estimated trip fuel 4 900kg
    minimum take-off fuel 7 400 kg
    Find the maximum allowable take-off fuel:

    ANSWER:11.100KG

    Why answer 11.100KG
    I take dry operating mass(mass of plane with no usable fuel and traffic load) and estimated load. This is total weight of plane without fuel.And If we substract it from maximum allowable take off mass than I found 11.400KG
    35.500+14.500=50.000KG and
    64.400-50.000=11.400KG ?????????
    Solution:

    MZFW = 53,000 Kg

    DOM = 35,500 Kg

    Max Allowable Load = MZFW-DOM = 17,500 Kg

    Load we have = 14,500 Kg

    Additional we can have = 17500-14500 = 3,000 Kg

    Correct Answers is 14,500 Kg

    The aircraft is limited by max landing mass and not by max take off mass.

    MLM = 56,200
    less DOM of 35500 = 20,700
    less Traffic Load of 14,500 = 6,200 (i.e. fuel remaining)
    Add trip fuel of 4,900 to fuel left i.e. 4,900 + 6200 = 11,100 max t/o fuel.

    Hope this makes sense.
