  • Define "Recovery" please? Questions for Alicante plate 19-1. eg Q330779

    Hi,
The Question bank keeps referencing aircraft " recovery" on a VFR plate eg Q 330779. "Refer to GSPRM Jeppesen ALICANTE (Leal) VFR plate 19-1. What is the maximum altitude for RECOVERY via Tabarca Route?"

What is the definition of this? Doesn't seem to appear anywhere in the material or elsewhere. Is it departure, arrival or both?
    Thanks,
    Christian

Recovery in aviation is used in the context of an aircraft returning to or arriving at an airfield such as "an aircraft recovering to an Alicante"; it is not used for aircraft departing or leaving an airfield.
Not to be confused with a breakdown recovery service for cars that have broken down.

    Kind regards
