    Ok, the key it's that it's says "minimum". That fuel could or couldn't be at that point.

    The contingency fuel is to allow for unforeseen circumstances en route to your destination (such as stronger winds than forecast or ATC re-routes) and is there to be burnt if required. It is therefore not included in your minimum fuel overhead the island destination.

    The question asks about "minimum fuel overhead the island destination".

    I understand the 630 final reserve. but shouldn't we add the contingency (5% trip) fuel too?
