  • 310481 - Pilot included in Useful Load for light AC?

    From the explanation:

[The definition of the Useful Load is the total mass of the passengers, baggage and cargo, including any non- revenue load. It is the difference between the Dry Operating Mass and the Take-off Mass.]

The BEM here is 1799lbs, so it's a light aircraft (surely). I thought the pilot was included in the Useful Load for light aircraft.

Any thoughts please? (Exam tomorrow afternoon...)

The question and alternative answers came from excellent feedback and there was no mention of a light aircraft as you would expect.
Given the available answers only the given one is correct.
However there is a error in the explanation and it should say Useful load = TL + take-off fuel.

    Good luck tomorrow
