First post here, response on the technical queries seem few and far between, I'll give it a go anyway.
The EASA LO's teach three types of turbine stator. Impulse, Reaction and a combination of the two.
On the Impulse turbine the gas is accelerated along a convergent stator, resulting in increased V and decreased static P.
On the Reaction turbine, LO's teach there is no change in V or static P along the turbine NGV, thus making Q210716 very ambiguous since no turbine type is specified. Wondering if I'm missing some significant technical detail here?
Thanks!
