  • VMC minima in controlled airspace

I've got myself a little confused...

In controlled airspace permitting VFR (B, C, D, E) what is the VMC minima?

Does the below 3000ft rule 'clear of cloud insight of surface' apply? Or is this just in uncontrolled airspace (F, G)

Yes, it still applies so you have two rules below 10,000'. Ground level to 3,000' & between 3,000' and 10,000'.

John CTKI Hi John, thanks for the reply,

My confusion stemmed from QID 100230, 100252, 100232

These questions and explainations make no reference to the 3000ft rule and a video I watched recently only introduced the the 3000ft rule in classes F and G.

Yes, I see the examiner has put the answer choice to reflect only a part of the issue. That's examiners for you.
