  • Uk ATPL exam valid in EASA after brexit?

    Hello everyone,

I've just read something on the UK CAA website: https://www.caa.co.uk/Our-work/About-us/EU-exit/
In the worst case the Uk will leave EASA. If one completes all atpl exams before March 2019, will they be valid for an EASA license after that date?

    Cheers
    Ivan

I spoke with Noush about this. If the exams are taken before March 2019 then they will be valid for EASA however if the exams are completed after they may not be. I have a place booked with a Polish flight school for next November and they told me that if I complete after March 2019 and take my exams in the UK then they can not except them so I must take the exams in an EASA member state.

Hi Ugzah, I have cpl in Poland booked for April, just after brexit...
I'll try to complete the exams ASAP and then I think/hope they will be recognised or "converted" to another EU State.

Have a look at BGS latest post on facebook.
